  • Tipzy Nails offers a variety of manicure and natural nail services, including regular polish manicures, gel polish manicures, structured gel manicures, gel overlays, gel tip applications, polish removal and paraffin wax hand treatments.

    Pedicure services are also available. Each service is designed with attention to nail care, detail and a polished finish.

    Online booking, allows you to read through the service menu, choose your desired service, select an available appointment time.

  • We are mainly by appointment only, but occasionally accept walk-ins.

Manicure & Nail Care FAQ’s

  • Appointment times vary depending on the service and whether existing polish or gel needs to be removed.

    When booking, you'll see the estimated appointment time for your selected service.

    We allow enough time to provide detailed nail care rather than rushing through your appointment.

    Regular Nail Polish Mani, plan on a minimum 1 hour. Gel manicures will take longer pending services desired.

  • Both services include professional nail and cuticle care, but the polish is different. A regular manicure uses traditional nail polish & air dry, while a gel manicure uses gel polish that is cured under a nail lamp.

    Gel polish is designed to provide a longer-lasting, durable finish compared with traditional polish.

  • No, Tipzy Nails prefers Gel extension tips over acrylics.

    Acrylics can be a higher risk for injuring your natural nail underneath the strong acrylic.

  • A gel overlay is applied over the natural nail without extending its length.

    Gel tips are used when you want to add length to the natural nail.

    Tipzy Nails uses gel tips rather than traditional acrylic extensions, offering clients another option for creating additional length while maintaining a polished, refined appearance.

  • Absolutely! If you have a manicure picture or nail art you would like done, feel free to Text it to 734-999-3327 ahead of time or bring it to your appointment.

    And if you have a polish you love, please feel free to bring it to your appointment.

  • We use an e-file to remove the top layer of the gel polish or gel extensions. Soaked in acetone for a few minutes to get the remaining base coat off.

    To not damage your natural nails, do not pull off your gel polish or extensions. They will eventually pop off on their own as your nails grow out in 4-6 weeks.

  • For a Waterless Pedicure there is no soaking. The Classic Pedicure at Tipzy Nails includes: an antiseptic foot spray, nail trim and shape, regular polish & moisturizing foot massage.

  • At Tipzy Nails, a Spa Pedicure consists of: a warm bubble foot bath for a relaxing, invigorating experience.

    A gentle sugar scrub exfoliation helps remove dry, dull skin & softens calluses, leaving your feet feeling smooth, refreshed, and renewed.

    Nail care/shaping and cuticle care. Finished with nourishing hydration & foot massage for soft, touchable feet.

  • A hydrating foot wrap consists of: antiseptic foot spray, followed by a relaxing, hydrating wrap & foot massage.

    It takes approximately 20-30mins.

    No nail care included, unless you add it on to the end of a full pedicure.

  • Absolutely! If you have a favorite nail color you would like, bring it to your appointment.

  • Many clients schedule a pedicure every few weeks, depending on nail growth, lifestyle and personal preference.

    Regular pedicures can help keep your toenails neatly shaped and your feet feeling refreshed and well cared for.

  • You don't have to remove your polish beforehand.

    If you have existing polish, it will be removed at your appointment. Removal is included in the pricing for pedicures only.
